Erica, can't wait till you give summer back to us in the southern hemisphere. I HATE cold weather of any kind. We had teh coldest winter for out region in 80 years! and boy did we feel it. Give me the blazing sun anyday...

My calendar shows that the autumnal equinox is Sept. 23 this year. When I'm asked how my summer WAS, I plan to say that it still IS -- and for that matter, WILL be for over SIX more weeks. Here's hoping the air conditioning doesn't go out ! And as with you, little sewing getting done. Sigh...

I have ran around all week getting ready for the school year. They go back Monday here in Atlanta where we live. It has been crazy and hot. Crazy Hot!! Can't wait for Fall for the weather and the fall fashions!! Can't wait to see what you'll be making. You are so talented and so so Chic! Like your new hair length also

I agree with anon, it's not summer until the equinox (and in Oregon, September is often the nicest of the summer months!)
