Gravatar I am adoring safari!!! Very very cute. Thank you for breathing life into potentially neglected pattern!

Gravatar Erica, I love these pants!!! Again and again you make the most stylish and amazing garments! Impeccable work!

Gravatar i want some! they are cute!

Gravatar Erica, you are so right about the length. Knickers length is best - anything longer than that and I look like a troll. Those look great on you.

Gravatar Cutness!! I luv them! Especially the cargo pocket!

Gravatar nice look and i also agree about the length of the pants. this length looks better on me also.

Gravatar Those are cute! Going on my list! LOL

Gravatar super cute! they are very flattering on you.

Gravatar Very cute pants, great changes to the pattern. Your always improve the original pattern so much. Thanks for all the pictures and tips.

Gravatar You look so great in these pants! I need to make a pair after seeing yours.

Gravatar Gorgeous pants. You look great in these. This is a neglected pattern, like the first person said. I have been looking for a loose, drawstring pattern for some linen pants. This is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Gravatar Very cute and casual!

Gravatar Those are a great laid back casual pair of capris. Perfect!

Gravatar wicked!

Gravatar nice pants, Erica. is a need today to take practical clothes .... best wishes. Paco

Gravatar Very nice!

Gravatar What a great "hang-out" outfit! You did a fabulous job on the pants and I love how you go to the store to check out what you want before sewing...kewl tip!

Gravatar Those are super cute!!

Gravatar Lucky magazine just featured some silk cargo capris. I'm intrigued but have never worked with silk before and am wondering if it's even a good idea for hot weather. Yours look great.

Gravatar Meg,
Silk is a natural fiber that breathes and would be great for Summer.

Gravatar Hmmmm.... I like me in capris but now you have me nervous. LOL.

Love your safari pants. I have a picture clipped to my sewing bulletin board of an adorable outfit from Cache's catalog last year. It was a cropped safari pants with jacket. I never got around to finding patterns to copy it.

Gravatar Super cute and smart job making that style work for you!

Gravatar Very cute!! They look good on you.

Gravatar I normally adore your work, but I just don't think this style looks good on you.

Gravatar These look great on you...fab idea to shorten the length.

Gravatar You look fab in these, they are so flattering, good tip to try some examples on first. My casual wardobe is a bit lacking beyond jeans too.

Gravatar Very cute and trendy! Love your sandals too.

Gravatar I am really feeling these pants. They look so comfortable and casual. I also like the fact that you made the drawstrings from the same fabric. Great!

Gravatar Jen,
I appreciate your honesty, but it's a good thing I dress for me and not for you!

Gravatar Ahem. LOL

Gravatar So cute. I have a few purchased but now I want to make a pair. I have to pick up that pattern.

Gravatar These are adorable. The more I learn about sewing, the more in awe I am of your talent. (Oh, and I love the sandals!)

Gravatar These look so hip, yet crisp. I totally agree with you about the length, yours hit just exactly where they should. It's always about lines isn't it

Gravatar Erica,

My first thought as soon as I saw you in those was "Has she lost weight?" Please please please take that as a tremendous compliment because they are very flattering on you. You did an excellent job!

Gravatar Cute and comfy, and you are wearing them well!

Gravatar Okay I am going to have to copy you on those !!Those are the perfect summer pants!!Super job!!

Gravatar Cute! I like them, very summery!
