We had a great time!!!! Still having fun! I Just woke up (tee hee) and I am about to put on some clothes and get ready to go to Joanns to see if I can find this cutting table! LOL, then off to Gail K Fabrics! We ate SOOOOOO good yesterday. I ate, then slept, then ate, then slept...met my SIL next door neighbor who just had a baby, talked and laughed, then ate again, and slept...lol Glad you all had a wonderful, wonderful time!! I don't have to go back to work until Monday so I am gonna sew until I can't see straight! *LOL* My DD's have plans, I have no colleges to look at w/DD and I just don't care if my house isn't clean this weekend...there's always next weekend! *LOL* I'm just gonna sew!

Absolutely NOTHING! I was going to go see the new movie...but I doubt it. I think I'm staying inside until Monday.
It's cold here today - 34 degrees! That's freezing for down here. I saw the traffic on the news this morning and said hell to the no! I decided to stay in bed with my laptop. LOL
I'm babysitting Princess Ryann while my parents and hers play golf. I plan on being in her grill all day with the camera - so while she's sleeping I'm charging all the batteries in the house!

Your Thanksgiving spread looked delicious! I braved the cold and crowds to go out shopping oday - it's not become a tradition even if we come home empty handed. I did get a few presents for family members and, of course, a few things for myself!
Am glad that your Thanksgiving Day was filled with lots of love, laughter and great memories. We're just hanging around the house doing absolutely nothing. DH let me sleep until noon yesterday and he cooked the ham. I fixed the fresh sweet potato casserole and DD fixed the green bean casserole. That was our meal and it was so filling. Today, DH cooked hot cross buns and started baking some bread. He loves to cook to de-stress. We're decorating the house tomorrow. No shopping this weekend as this is a time for rest. I'm sewing some new curtains for DD's dorm room as the first pair were too short. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I went shopping on Black Friday for the FIRST time this morning with my sister, it was also her first time. I was sooo tired, but I had a great time! Hope you found what you were looking for.

I decided to forgo the Black Friday chaos this morning after seeing the traffic report on the news. I just wanted notions from Hancocks... I'm sure they will be on sale again.
My husband's brother came up with his family to spend Thanksgiving with us (I'll welcome houseguests for T-day anytime; as long as I can eat my own Thanksgiving cooking I'm happy). The kids are all the same age, so they've been having a blast. Our guests are heading back to PA tomorrow, so I need to get back to working on my holiday dress!

I feel the same way about the food. No matter where we spend Thanksgiving, I ALWAYS cook at home.
It sounds like you prepared lots of yummy food and had a wonderful time. I didn't try anything new this year, and more surprisingly, it was the first time I didn't feel frazzled in the kitchen. It is funny how it used to be so overwhelming making sure the timing was just right, hoping there was enough for everyone, praying the pie wouldn't burn, etc. It all came together this year, no problems, even the pies came out perfect!

I did not get up at the crack of dawn friday for sales, i eventually went out to see This Christmas which was funny as hell!
And i'm adding to my sewing tools one piece at a time... got my dressform thursday night online. Orginal price 229.99, got it for 107 w/ free shipping! BOOYAH!!! lol
now for the hard part, waiting on the mailman...

What a delicious menu. I actually ventured out on Black Friday and ended up in Sears. I was really surprised at the fantastic discounts - I'm talking 60% & 70% off on top of my daughter's 20% discount. I literally spent 2 hours in the store...lol

We had a great Thanksgiving. My mom cooked most of the food. I was only responsible for a dessert and the baked ham. Your dinner looks delicious. Glad you had a great Thansgiving.
