Happy Anniversary!! I'm in ATL (still here) visiting with my younger daughter, we're having a great time! Also went to see "Why Did I Get Married" on Saturday. The Taste of Atlanta on Sunday, plus lots of other running around. So it's been a very busy weekend.

The 14th is my wedding anniversary too (great day to get married)! We celebrated our 7th this year. On Saturday we went to dinner and a movie ("Michael Clayton") while Grandma babysat. Then on Sunday I made pumpkin waffles for breakfast, and for dinner I made teriyaki short ribs and fried rice. Delicious!

Congrats! I went bowling with my family for my youngest nephew's 4th birthday. His brother is 7, and THE CHILDREN BEAT ME! It was pretty humiliating, but still fun. And hey, cake made it better.

Happy Anniversary. I didn't leave the house on Saturday. cooking, cleaning, reading, and organizing sewing projects. Sunday: church. cutting out muslins, and more organizing sewing projects. Too much to do and not enough weekend. I wonder who came up with the five day work week. lol

Happy Belated Birthday! I spent Saturday afternoon with DH shopping for a new sewing machine. I have a birthday coming up soon and told DH that I wanted a light weight machine to take to classes and ASG meetings plus sew-in's. Ended up getting the Babylock Xscape. It will be here later this week. DH told me that I have to wait until my birthday arrives to open it. It's a computerized 3/4 size machine with 9 presser feet and lots of features. Comes with a travel case. Can hardly wait until I can play with it. By the way, DH and I will celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary next spring.

First off.. Happy Anniversary!! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.

This weekend I felt I got a lot accomplished..
I inventoried and cataloged my Fabric stash! and...got rid of a few pieces.

It took 2 and a half days, but now I at least know the extent of my sickness!..

Honestly, It was more fun than sewing, I got to handle all my fabric, and
my mind is bursting with new and wonderful sewing inspirations!
