That's a very pretty jacket. This pattern is on my list of things to make (someday!) Your approach to the CB seam does make a lot more sense than the pattern instructions you described.

I thought you might want to know: in both the post for this garment and a recent post, you wrote "There was nothing that I didn't dislike about this pattern." The first time, it seemed like a typo, since otherwise you were raving about the pattern. But since it's here twice, and it seems like you liked this one, too, I thought I'd point it out: you have a double-negative. What you're saying in that sentence is "There is nothing I liked about this pattern," implying that it was awful. If you loved the pattern, it would make more sense to say, "There is nothing I disliked about this pattern." Just thought you might want to know.

I LOVE this! I might have to make a bright yellow jacket. I'm finding not too many button styles are hitting me, either recently. Covered buttons are always an excellent choice.

You said that the jacket still looks like the pattern envelope. Umm....I think it looks 1,000 times better than the pattern envelope. It is gorgeous. I passed this pattern up based on the envelope photo. But after seeing yours, I think I have to change my mind. The inside of the jacket is a work of art too. It really shows your attention to detail in every way.
