Gravatar Always perfect! Your work(wo)manship is amazing! I can't wait to finally crack into this pattern.

Gravatar Erica - your pants look great. I don't really understand what you mean about sewing the waistband and facing at an angle. Could you fill me in.

Gravatar Erica: PER-FECT!!! Beautiful sewing work, flawless finishings inside, perfect fabric choice, perfect fit, wonderful details... LOVE IT!!!!

Gravatar Looks like you snatched them right off of a rack!!!

And did you make the top too? That is SO cute!

Now you know that outfit is so ME!!! :o)

Looks good Gurl!

Gravatar Erica, the pants are flawless - my admiration! On an additional note: the top I liked, but now seeing you wearing it, it became a must-have! Simply adorable!

Gravatar looks excellent, a white pants is a great staple in your closet, and yours looks better than the banana republic one

Gravatar Beautifully finished pants and great looking of course.

Gravatar Wow, what a smart outfit! The pants...really nice workmanship. That back pocket...fantastic!

I just cannot model for photos like you....do you give lessons?

Gravatar Erica, The pants are beautiful. I love all the detail photo shots. Is your photographer you lovely daughter? Whoever it is takes some awesome framed shots.

I just made McCalls 4783. I saw your green skirt made of this pattern on Flickr. You had shortened the yoke by 2" and I can see why. The back yoke line is right at the widest part of my back end. What a difference those 2" make. I should have listened to your advice and just shortened it in the first place. Just wanted to let you know that is people like you who share information like this that make it easier for the rest of us. Thanks.

Gravatar The pants look great. Your sewing has inspired me to sew more for myself and my children. I actually have that pattern in line to do next for myself after I finish a dress for my daughter. How did you figure out which pieces to alter? I've made shirts according to my waist and bust size and I end up having to do a bunch of alterations after they are made. Do you make a muslin of your garment or just go ahead without? Can you help?

Gravatar Wow Erica. Great job as usual. Loving all of the black and white for the summer.

Gravatar These pants look great - nice and crisp for summer! I wish I had 1/10th of the talent you have. I love the top too!

Gravatar Great pants and thanks for the picture of you in the top and bottom! Love how they work together! So what is up next?!

Gravatar I found you from Wardrobe Refashion, and holy wow are you talented! I mean, REALLY talented!

I can't do any of that--yet. But I'm thinking about it, thanks to you.

Gravatar I can't believe how amazing you are! I've never been compelled to post on a strangers blog, but i really have to give you props. Props!

Gravatar OMG, those are absolutely fabulous. They look gorgeous on you. I've been looking for a perfect pants pattern, specifically for some linen pants (I'm also a fan of Banana Republic pants). You may have introduced me to the right one!

Gravatar Wow I love the outfit with the top and the new pants. Beautifully made. What an inspiration you are!

Gravatar I'm also curious about the waistband issue and eliminating the gap. Could you please explain that?

Gravatar I have a pair of white linen Banana Republic Martin Fit slacks and I love them!

The pants look great! Love the top, too! Did you make that too?

Gravatar Can you say......PROJECT RUNWAY!!!!!

Gravatar That fabric is beautiful. These pants look really good on you & they look like they feel good.

Gravatar Wow, those are so absolutely beautiful! I am impressed and inspired!

Gravatar Those welt pockets are flawless! In your blog, could you talk about how you learned to sew so well? Inquiring minds want to know how you go so good!!!

Gravatar Those pants are amazing. I have this pattern but have been a little timid to try my hand at pants. I like the idea of getting a custom fit though.

Gravatar Nice. Really nice.

Gravatar wow, I'm impressed!!

Gravatar wow! i just found your blog by accident and i am sooo glad i did! as an aspiring sewer, you're an inspiration. i can't wait to try out some of the new stuff i learned just today. thank you!

Gravatar These are so hot! And look a lot like the ones I bought from Ann Taylor Loft.

I do have one question...does your pocket lining show? That was the complaint that we got from the pants at AT Loft.

Gravatar Great job on your pants. They are fantastic for summer. The BR martins are also a favorite style for me. You are truly inspirational!

Gravatar The pants are very nice, as well as the top... Great Job. I would like to know a little bit more about the waistband, scooping out the crotch and eliminating the gap issues. Thanks.

Gravatar Gorgeous! Thanks for all the detail shots.

Gravatar VERY CHIC! Love it!
