As someone who lives down here, I can honestly say that you've got it totally mixed up. In reality, all things that come from Florida are bad, whereas everything that is bad does not necessarily come from Florida. Don't forget that we live in a country that borders Texas, afterall! 
Yeah, but Texas is what it is. You expect everything bad to come from there. Florida seems all mixed up. It is what it isn't, and it isn't what it is.
