America's credit binging is very worrisome. It WILL come crashing down, the question is when. You present some very interesting points here. The most individuals like me can do is get rid of debt and save up for when the walls come down...
If we would stop sending all our money to foreign countries in the form of 'aid,' and stop outsourcing our work and export instead of import, maybe, just maybe we could turn this around.
It is my understanding that Bus has some $150 Billion he is planning on trickling down to people who 'need' it in the hopes that they will go and spend.
This will look good 'on paper' but will do little to nothing to 'fix' the problem.
I am not an economist and this is a bit out of my league but, it's what I think.
Of course it would help if the Government would face the fact that we are in a recession!

I heard a rumor that in fact Bush actually owns part of Halliburton. The rumor is that he bought out Cheney's part for $10 million.
Do you know anything about this? I would be very interested to know if this rumor is true.

I watched several videos. The one with Martin Luther King.."Take Our Country Back"...brought tears to my eyes.
Concerning everything else. In my opinion Bush and his cronies are war mongers and profiteers. Why he and they have not been charged with war crimes I simply don't understand.
My heart breaks everday to know that my son-in-law has been forced to go to Iraq. He's national Guard not full time army. He should never have been sent over there. The national guard is for us here at home. But, no...Bush has used every single asset that America has to bring us all to our kness, and destroy what once was a beautiful and respected country.
Sometimes I really believe that Bush, and many others that have preceeded him actually have worked together intetionally to take America down. And, they are winning the battle.
I only pray that we Americans can recover and actually take our country back.

I have know for a long time that this would happen, I just didn't know when. Now that it is happening I really feel sorry for my grandchildren, they will be paying the price for all the greed that has gone on for a long time. This took many years to come about, it is too bad no one listened to all the warnings. This is how they are going to get NAFTA through and it is really going to be bad for America. I honestly don't know what people are going to do to get through this mess. Any suggestions?
