It's a sad situation isn't it? It truly is a disgrace. I heard on the news today that it has dropped even more. But, there are still some of us that are holding out hope for change. Who knows maybe the next generation will do a better job than ours has.

Poverty! What is it? How can this be? I am a believer of a World of Total Abundance. The God wants us to be living on earth full of joy in all areas of our fulfillments. I am still wondering, in my country, the government is struggling with rural poverty, until I appeared on a Radio Show, pointing to the urban scenario. It's all over the globe. Each is poor on the material or the non material, such as spiritual. I believe no individual on earth should be label as such. Poor! Thus, retrospect please on the history, how it all started as an agenda, so observe the group of people who suggest, "why you carry so much gold, let us keep it for you, and in turn we give you this paper". The paper is promissory notes, so large, and then made it smaller, sizable later known as money. Then, banks were set up, where the central does not belong to the government. Imagine that. Taxes were introduced so that all nations carry national debts. Why? Because, one nation that borrows $ 1,000, ended up paying $ 1,000,000. Then, war becomes a lucrative business for them, a nation for no reason go and attack another nation, based on an assumption, "let's attack this country before they attack us", or "let's knock down one building, and blame other nations that have black gold. Suck em!". Next, the scale is wider with globalization. What next? Poverty then shall continue to be widespread, except the enlightened. Especially those few who are sharing, what is access, with the intention of prosperity for all. The best solution to poverty, is not to be one of the poor. Be rich, in all aspect of this, our only life on earth.

It's sad poverty still exist in this world. What I have learn in life from my mentor is "Poverty is not the lack of Money, Poverty is the proof of misguided money." God made all of us more than conquerors and all of us can do our part to make this world a better place to live in

I don't subscribe to the concept of 'lack', nor to the fairy tale of unlimited abundance - the physical laws of nature prove otherwise; this will all end someday, so forget feelgood thoughts of enough to go around. We each have to take responsibility for protecting our natural assts, the health of local economies and the guidance of resources toward that where they can be the most effective.
Wishful thinking and biblical quotes won't do the trick.

This is truly sad. We look at the US as a superpower, a caretaker, the one who will save us.(i'm from asia) Yet, when a nation cannot take care of its poor, how can it take care of others? The US has been meddling, criticizing, pouring aids to the 3rd world but neglecting its poor. Long live America!
