I am sure a few Americans get their news from foreign sources; the rest probably prefer watching FOX- which is somewhat like preferring the Weekly World News and stories about BigFoot and BatBoy to reading the NY Times.

I used to be very much into the BBC- until they started catering to the US population, now I don't think it is any different then our other news outlets.

I tend to get really frustrated with the news now days- I am not sure why news about porn stars and actors with drug problems make it in the news. I used to read the entertainment section avidly for book recommendations and movies, arts that sort of thing. Now I have to wade through BS about Paris Hilton and her cronies to find anything of substance.
