So glad the Celica test came back negative - same here which is great but I now find bread too filling. And all this healthy living you've been doing is a good thing. More of us should follow your example!
You are such.. choke, chortle, snort... good and loving son! Doris will be sooooo pleased.....
Have a great weekend.

It was worth the price of admission for Hugh Jackman's ass- totally.
Glad you're feeling better dear! Sunny days will give you the old urge to get out there into the garden, it's really very therapeutic.

Sorbet is brilliant - pink grapefruit, rasberry, pineapple, pomegranate.....the possibilities are endless!
Have fun whipping up some sorbet magic!

I hear tangerine sorbet is fantastic.
Glad it isn't Celiac. I became lactose intolerant in my late 40s, which the doctor said is common for Mediterranean males--the body says, I've pumped those enzymes for long enough--I'm done now.
The testing was a rough go. My cat had leapt off my shoulder a week or so before, scratching my neck and the lymph node had become infected and huge; I had the diarrhea that comes from drinking milk when you can't process it. They combined that with info from my profile--theatrical designer, single gay male--and decided I had AIDS. They could have handled things better, but I tested negative for HIV and someone finally suggested testing for lactose.
You'll have to experiment--I can handle cultured products (I'm a VERY cultured guy!) like yogurt, cultured sour cream, cheeses aged over 90 days. Anyway, good luck with it, blessedly it's not too difficult to deal with.

Well at least there are substitutes for ice cream that actually are good - better than having to give up bread and pasta, in my book! I hope some cheeses are still a go ...
I sent my mom chocolate covered fruit for Mothers Day and actually got it delivered on time. She was so surprised. Quite a change from the late card.

PS: I think I'm pretty alone here, but I never have understood the whole Hugh Jackman thing.
