If there is justice in Texas (I know, I know) there will be lawsuits brought forth by national groups. This cannot go unchallenged.
The texas thing is exactly why we have to keep putting ourselves out there. I have had straight people tell me, that we are not as hated as we used to be, but the fact there are people out there that still abuse us is why we have to continue. THe people who dont get us need to come to pride and listen to the haters that line up to spew their hate.

THIS honestly reminded me of living in UTAH circa 1970-1974. Cops routinely raided bars, BYU sent "student spies" to parking lots of gay establishments to look for BYU parking stickers, etc etc. Yep, pretty sad, but NOT surprising in Texas, after all, it's THE BUSH / OIL / Gov. Does anybody besides me wonder if the Texas raids and brutal treatment of gay men wasn't a mob of redneck cops' idea of "celebrating" Stonewall and telling the faggots who's really in charge in Texas? I find the timing of the raids highly suspicious.
