Gravatar I'm so sad to hear what your family has to go through. Linda Lou is the strongest woman I've seen in a long time. Our family will pray for yours. Don't lose the faith.

Tina

Gravatar May God bless Linda Lou McCall and the entire family of the late Louis McCall and Linda Lou McCall. I am from Vallejo and recall meeting Louis and Linda Lou McCall in a chance meeting at the now closed-down restaurant, Colony Kitchen, on Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo. I was just a 16 year old Filipino teenager back then hoping to become somebody someday, and I was working my first job, as a busboy, and I cleaned your table. I recognized Louis McCall right away from all of my Con Funk Shun LPs. I asked for Louis' autograph and he gladly obliged! Linda Lou, you might remember this day, circa 1980, I'm not sure though, but I remember you laughed and said, "Did you hear what he just said?" God bless you and take care. I am a family practice doctor in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. I'm sorry to hear that Louis did not get as good medical care as he could have gotten due to his busy life schedule with the group. Long live Con Funk Shun!
Sincerely,

Lino S. Dial, Jr., D.O.

Gravatar I pray that justice is served against the person who took the life of the late Louis McCall. God bless everyone--the McCall family and all who found joy in hearing the timeless music of Con Funk Shun.

Sincerely,

Lino S. Dial, Jr., D.O.
