I visit ever so often and your craft always amazes me ... it's beautiful!
The colors came out beautiful for the felted yarn. Do you have or can you get something similar in a solid? You can make a solid scarf, maybe a black or forest green, and accent it with some scattered crocheted flowers. Or a hat with one or two flowers on the brim or crown. Crochet does take more yarn than knitting though, so make sure you have enough (maybe swatch the flower with another yarn to see how much yardage it takes).
It's definitely not User Error Faith. That Hitch Hiker is tough to work on. I had one and while I loved the portability I wasn't happy spinning on it. Those colors did come out funky. But I love the way you got the colors to change.
Not sure what to do with 23 yards though. Hmmmm...
Always amazes me how you got from that fuzzy picture to that beautiful ball of yarn. II have no clue what you can make with it but I look forward to seeing it
For some reason the firsskein is screaming "pansises" at me, although why would would want or need a giant yarn pansies is a little beyond me
