Your are so right. Opposition to the War has never been about the troops, but about the evil that sends them to die, based on a lie and the greed rush to treasure. I can't think of any sane American who doesn't know the personal and heavy burdens our heros carry ---especially under the devestating yoke of a corrupted patriotism. It doesn't lessen their sacrifices, only increases our respect for their valor. The true test of American patriotism will be supporting our troops when they come home, too many broken for life. I remember so well the homeless armies, broken in mind and spirit that flooded the streets of America's cities after the Vietnam War. It's when "Jonny Comes Home Again" that true war is won.
