We live in a 1970's neighborhood of small brick ranches. The bathrooms in these houses are quite small.
A few weeks ago we were at the neighbors for a birthday party. In the main bath, they placed a large- 3' x 4'mirror on the wall to make the room look bigger- unfortunately, it's directly across from the toilet.
Everyone at the party got a huge laugh out of it when one of the party goers (who had been partying fairly hard) came stumbling out of the bathroom visibly upset. "Oh my god" she drunkenly and loudly slurred, "I had NO idea I was so ugly on the shitter." The entire crowd just cracked up- I guess most of us had the same thought, but none expressed it quite so well.
It really is enoug to make you rethink your physical fitness routine.

Good grief! I have a mirror at the end of the tiny kitchen in my apartment to make the space seem larger, but I would never have thought of putting one up opposite the toilet. Some people have, um, interesting tastes.
