No doubt about it -- my absolute favorite one on the list is this:
I learned when I started college that if I worked really hard I could get good grades. I just didn’t work really hard.

Hi Andi,
Yep that one is pretty true.
Hope you're having a good vacation.

I have to agree with that. I didn't have to work hard to get very good grades in high school, so I never really developed the habit.
Do I regret it? Not usually.

Also because the first time I ever commented on a political blog I was called stupid.
Well, we don't like that person.
And what do they know anyway? It never ceases to amaze me that people CARE what goes on in the comments to political blogs and get so worked up about it. My philosophy is that blog commenting is only about entertaining oneself. If it doesn't entertain me, I don't do it.
You can tell me your opinion anytime FM. The worst thing I'll tell you is to put on your helmet.

Hi FM. I agree about political blogs. I don't regularly comment because it often becomes pointless. That's why after some 4 years at dkos I'm still little known.
BMT is probably better than most in that regard.

Hi FAR,
I didn't work hard in high school because I didn't care. I did in college and I did work hard for a long time, but slacking just came back to me.

Hi Mary and thanks.
When I first went to political blogs I was kind of serious, but I now see they're more insults sessions than anything. I've just never been good at insulting perfect strangers. I'm much better at insulting friends.

Hi Boran,
I agree. I like to see a good dust up every now and then, but I can say I would never be in one.

These are great, Fam! It's fun to get a peek into my friends' brains - especially from their viewpoint. I love the last one, because it's so "you." You might be perfecting physical slacking, but your brain and heart are always on high gear.

Hi Beth,
Glad you like the 10 or say 11 honest things. Actually I wish my brain was in high gear, but unfortunately I think it's right along there with the rest of my body.
Hope you're having a great week and have finally gotten the bug problem under control.
Take care,
FM

LOL FM. Very nice.
Agree w/ Andi on #6.
Does #5 make it difficult for you, or do you all keep that stuff to yourselves?

Hi Olivia,
Nope #5 doesn't make it to difficult. I'll tell my brothers and sister what I think and we never argue. They'll give me these knowing looks and sort of dismiss the whole thing. Back when FMom was alive it was always she and I giving my siblings a hard time. That was always fun.
