Gravatar Now see, this is the problem of never letting us see a picture of you. First we have no before and now we have no after so we'll never know how wonderfully gorgeous you are.

Perhaps you could help out by telling us where you are on 1 to Pamela Anderson boob job scale.

Gravatar I'm glad to hear that you were able to get something more than advil for the pain. With the new glasses this sounds a bit like one of those makeover shows. When is the big reveal?

Gravatar Hiya Andi,

AH HA! The man of mystery still survives. :P

If Pamela Anderson's boob job is a 10 then I'm around a 2 or 3. Of course a very distinguished, graying at the temples and mustache 2 or 3.

FARfetched has tagged me to tell 10 true things about myself. I guess just saying I'm a lovable middle aged cuss doesn't cover all 10 does it?

Gravatar Hiya Boran,

I can definitely say it's not a make over. It's more like trying to fix a junk yard car. It's past its prime, but they're just trying to get it in working order.

The big reveal? Once I find someone I would like to look like, I'll post their picture.

Gravatar Wow! Two postings in two days. This is wonderful!

Love the story about the dentist. I was riding with you all the way. I can sympathize with it all. Glad you like the results of the new glasses and the new teeth. But you didn't say, can you chew? and can you see okay?

Gravatar Now, don't leave those new teeth in the freezer!

Gravatar this might be your best posting evah

Gravatar Hi CF,

Yep I did kinda get carried away with the writing in the last couple of days.

On the teeth and glasses. I can't chew yet. I tried to eat a pimento cheese sandwich last night and even as soft as that was, I could chew because it hurt too much. The glasses are great. I didn't have to squint once to read road signs on the way to and from Birmingham. It has been so long I had forgotten what non-squinting was like.

Gravatar Hi Toni,

I'll really have to get into a very altered state of mind and figure out where I left them. Who knows, I might have a place where all the stuff I've lost over the years are in one place and my teeth could be the key to finding everything. Sort of a geriatric Indiana Jones adventure.

Gravatar Hi Mary,

Now you're starting to embarrass me. If I just knew how to punctuate I might agree with you.

Gravatar Hey there FM,
What an ordeal! Needles and novocaine and them trying to put you off! At least hopefully the worst is over for now....

Glad to hear the new glasses are working out so far ... I've had my new ones for about a month now and am finally almost used to the bifocals. Problem is though, if I'm sitting in my recliner and I look down to see Hanna, she's so short she gets blurry! But blurry or not she's the best thing to happen to us in ages (much better than my recent unemployment). She's a real comfort for both of us....

Gravatar Hi IVG,

I must be really out there somewhere becuase I didn't remember about the recent unemployment. I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope things get straightened out for you very soon.

I've had my new glasses for only a few days, but it makes such a world of difference. The biggest thing I'm trying to get used to is this upper denture. I still haven't learned to eat properly with it. Although, my imitation of Daffy Duck with a heavy Southern drawl is getting better. Between eating properly and speaking properly, the denture is just peachy keen though.

Here's hoping the sky starts brightening for you.

You and Fernymoss take care.

FM

Gravatar If your teeth have a boob job, does that mean they're permanently swollen? Do they add a certain bounce to your step?

I need another drink. I've only had one.

Gravatar Hiya FAR,

It feels like my gums are permanently swollen. I do have a jiggle to my denture every now and then, but what can you do.
