I figured if Colossus can do it, why can't I? (And my apologies to Dorian for lifting the "Subtext? What Subtext?" heading. I thought I'd seen other bloggers use it, so I assumed it was kind of a public domain thing. As for a sidebar link...hey, I just work here. Better take it up with the boss-man!)

Other bloggers have used it, but they've linked to me in some way when doing so. I wouldn't really have minded if you had.

Yes Dorian. You're the first one to ever "get" subtext in comics. Congratulations.

I'm not even really upset...bemusedly frustrated would probably be a more apt description.

I claim proprietory control of the phrases:
"Is manga a fad?"
"Mark Millar exaggerates"
"...is killing comics."
"...too many superheroes..."
"Is Batman gay?"
There - try writing a column now, online community!

I claim proprietary control of Popeman. And then I'll rewrite the old you out of continuity and create the exciting adventures of Ultimate Popeman (an all-new and all-original character!)

Manga is a passing fancy.
Mark Millar lies through his crooked teeth.
He also is making comics very unwell, because there are two many spandex jockies.
Which leaves me wondering, how limp is Batman's wrist?

hey guys, I don't care what you say about popeman, I'm making my own popeman, I'm going to copyright it and make a movie out of it. My storyline is far different from yours, and better.
