Your new cardigan looks really pretty(and it should look great on you too!). Your bathrooms are great- it must be a joy to use them everyday. I don't think I've ever been in DC for the cherry blossoms- wierd, huh? I been there dozens of times, but never for that. It looks amazing, though. I've heard that it's not hard to grow orchids, but I've never been able to- hope you have much better luck!

I've always wanted to see the Cherry Blossoms! I visited Baltimore and DC last March, but I was too early. Hopefully, I'll get to see them sometime.

The lacy Cardigan is a perfect Spring knit! Thanks for sharing picture of your day off and the beautiful flowers. In San Clemenete the orchids do really well because of all the moisture in the air - I had better luck with african violets when in the midwest, I'm afraid.

The Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) are truly special. I was lucky enough to be in Tokyo this year to see them, all of the locals come to picnic in huge parks where they are planted. They are treasured there.

It is so nice to see Americans appreciate the gift Japan gave to us! I have never seen them in bloom in D.C.
