Gravatar Gretel is lovely and really really suits you. I've got it queued in my head for knitting someday, and it's just barged past a load of other stuff and is currently squeaking 'Make me! You could look as cute as Amanda' (as if!) at me

VK - I'm with you on the 'what is my subscription for?', mine ran out this winter and I won't be bothering renewing, which of course means that the patterns will improve hugely. That said I stuck with Interweave and the Spring issue is great.

Looking forward to seeing your cardigan finished.

Gravatar WOW! both projects look great! I love that hat!

Gravatar Gretel looks incredibly cozy and a great fit on you. I'm jealous of your farm stand alpaca! It's nice to finally know what all that yarn is for and I had to laugh. Just Tuesday I was in Barnes and Noble and almost bought that issue of VK - for that pattern!

Gravatar Ohhh, Gretel looks adorable on you! You ended up with just the right amount of slouch.

Gravatar I LOVE that pattern (although I'm sorry to hear that it's not well edited). I can't wait to see the FO. I've subscribed to VK off and on, but even when I stop, I end up buying it. What can you do?
Gretel looks great. I think it needs to go on my to do list.

Gravatar Your Gretel is gorgeous! The halo from that yarn is really visible in the pictures-I bet it's so soft!

Gravatar Super cute! Gretel is on my someday list. It looks great on you.

Gravatar The hat looks great. Too bad about having to rip it, but it certainly looks wearable now.

Gravatar Gretel is very cute. I wish berets looked good on me! that red cardi is going to be lovely - I adore those smooshy cables.

Gravatar Isn't it fantastic to find the perfect project for that perfect yarn? Or vice-versa? Both excellently exampled in this post.

Gretel is très chic, and that Vogue sweater is another jaw droppingly beautiful one. Every time I visit your blog, it makes me wish I picked up the needles more often.

Gravatar I love the hat. I have the pattern and just need to find the right yarn for it. I love yours. It looks so soft and halo-like!

The cardigan is coming along great! Can't wait to see it finished!

Gravatar Cute hat!

The cables are gorgeous, and I love that red. I noticed that sweater too--I'm looking forward to seeing your's turns out.

Gravatar Very pretty! The color and slight fuzziness of the yarn works well with the hat. I'm going to have to give that one a try!

Gravatar Gretel Looks wonderful, as does the red jacket, I'm looking forward to seeing that finished.

Gravatar I think Vogue likes to wait until we all swear we're never subscribing again to whip out their best stuff! Grrr...

Gretel looks absolutely PERFECT in that yarn. It's gorgeous.

Gravatar I love that hat on you! It looks magnificent! I have some yarn left over from a vest i am knitting my dad and I just might have to make me that.

Gravatar The hat is so cute! I hadn't really considered that style would give me less hat head...hmmm, intriguing : ) The sweater looks wonderful. You knit like the wind- fast!

Gravatar Gretal is beautiful, you are motivating me to get working on one of my own!

Gravatar Your Gretel looks really beatiful and cozy. I am wearing mine all the time. I like it so much.
How do you like knitting with Classic Al? I noticed it on sale at Webs and was wondering about the yarn. I can`t wait to see the jacket finished. It is a gorgeous color.

Gravatar Can't wait to see the Cape Collar Jacket finished! It looks awesome even in its current UFO state.

Gretel turned out great!

Gravatar Ok, let me just say that Gretel is SO cute on you!!! I love the lighter weight yarn you used too, it just made the hat that much cuter. Yeah for no hat hair!!

I have never actually made anything from VK, but there are lots of patterns that I would like to try. I have always hear that the instructions are very vague and poorly written. I can't wait to see your jacket all seamed up and modeled!

Gravatar Hi Amanda. It's good to see you back! Gretel is so you! I stopped buying Vogue last year. Now I don't even flip through it in the magazine isle. It's just a bit too edgy for me these days. Your sweater looks intriguing, however.
