That Granny Smith Cardi is gorgeous. I'm no where near good enough to make it yet, but definitly lights a fire to keep learning. Not that you asked but just to share my opinion I like the ribbon on the left. Kind of gives it a Irish feel, very cute either way.

LOVE your Grannie Smith. I just picked up a pullover of a similar design (and color) from a thrift shop, but I like the cardi version very much and would love to try making something this pretty with my own little hands.

Overall, your post has me feeling the love for those warm hues of green in the fall mix that often get lost in the red-orange-yellow shuffle. Viva verde!

I love your Grannie Smith Cardi--very pretty! I would say the sleeves are a perfect bracelet length Great yarn sub--it looks a little more substantial than the versions I've seen in Kid Silk Haze.

The new green sweater also looks heavenly. Both of the ribbons are so different. I actually kinda prefer the one on the right which is a little more ornate because I think it would give it a really unique look.

Can't wait to see it finished!

Hi...I just googled ribbon trim for sweaters and found your gorgeous ribbon trimmed sweaters. I'm wondering if you could share with me how you went about sewing the ribbon on? I just finished a sweater and would like to add a few layers of ribbon (saw one similar in Santa Fe recently and am now obsessed with the concept!). Any suggestions would be soooo appreciated!
