I have never even noticed whether a woman was carrying a purse or not; I will start taking note.

He he. But don't you ever give your wife things to carry in her purse?

Ha!
Actually no, she gives me stuff to put in my pockets.
Last summer we took a trip to NYC; it was hot in Manhattan, and her heavy, over-the-shoulder bag made it seem hotter. I volunteered to carry it for her.
I got more than a few strange looks.

LOL. It is funny when you see a straight man carrying/holding his wife's purse or buying tampons for her. Mostly because the men look so embarrassed and uncomfortable doing these things :-D

It doesn't bother me at all, but then you know, I am an odd duck.
I was over my brother's house once and we all decided to go out for a bike ride.
There were four of us, all men, but my brother had only four bikes and one of them was his daughter's (it was PINK).
I volunteered to ride the daughter's bike, but my younger brother absolutely refused to be even seen with me if I did.
He wound up staying home rather than be seen with me on pink bike.

John - that's fantastic, lol
Fannie - I think I'm well on my way to being a massive big lesbo :P
Not only do I carry bags that fall into the bags-that-are-definitely-not purses category, and get to the point where they're breaking before forcing myself to get another, but I also tend to hand tuck quite a lot....
(Also, I wear men's shirts and men's trousers at work, on the grounds that they have pockets to store the stuff that doesn't belong in bags!)
Obviously, you are corrupting me, and the End of The World (TM) is nigh!
