Go ahead and say it!

well...i made it over here finally...i am the one who would love love more of the woodland elves batts to make a vest for my little one...(i think that is what you called that particular batch?!) i don't know what i did with the card you gave me...so i am posting on your blog (and reading it as well!!)! thanks! pennie

Gravatar I know what you mean about knitting for large guy parts. I knit a beautiful dark grey cardi for my beloved, and it nearly killed me with the boredom. Men are sooooo picky and finicky about clothes, aren't they? (she says, realizing what a sexist remark that is only after it leaves her mouth) No cables, no stitch patterns to break up the monotony, just a 48" chest worth of dark grey stockinette. Anyway, I finished it too late this year for much wear, but if doesn't spend all of next winter in that cardi- I'm taking it back. He's been warned. Although it doesn't "fit" me, It has the perfect slouchy "boyfriend sweater" appeal. I might hide it, and then accuse him of not loving it enough, all so I can get my hands back on it.

Gravatar It was so nice to meet you at the Frolic! I was the lady who popped over to your booth on Sunday who had come from Michigan.

And it's ALSO great to meet another pagan spinner/knitter!

Have a beautiful summer! I am hoping to get back to Maine in July...but must make sure my car can make the journey!

Gravatar He'd better appreciate them!
Next time, go with the wine colors. It's a rare man that will wear purple of any shade.

Gravatar The socks are gorgeous - I hope he loves them!

Gravatar I love those socks. They look so soft and comfy.
Blessings, Star

Gravatar Josette- Failing to plan is planning to fail? For an unorganized person, you seem to get a heck of a lot done.

I can never find the middle road either.

Gravatar "sock stealing hussy" - love it! Not to rub it in or anything, but those are some great looking socks.
