Yawn. Am I the only person in the world tired of this subject?

I'm a liberal. We lost. I was sad. I have gone on with my life. I don't hate conservatives.

The way I see it is that I am secure and comfortable in my life, marriage, home and job and the election really has very little effect on me. I have no family or friends in the military. My spouse and I and both of our families are well-off (but not rich). The abortion issue doesn't effect me and I really don't care that much about it.

If the conservatives do a crappy job then people will eventually get tired of them and vote in more democrats. If I'm wrong and the republicans do a great job then good for me and everyone else. I think that people on both sides who act like this election was life or death need to get a grip.

My spouse thinks I am throwing in the towel b/c of my nonchalant attitude, but I think I am tired of politics and the whole red v. blue stuff. Maybe I am just getting lazy.
