Quite right...*hearing* the old guy say "Communiss" just isn't the same as reading it...and heaven knows what modern day movie focus-grouping would do to the hilarious scenes with the gay characters...better to leave that on paper. It wouldn't be quite as bad as the efforts to put Jeeves and Bertie on film (waste of time, 90% of the fun is the writing style) but surely it would be bad.

hello michael, sorry to swerve off topic but i've noticed you have a number of scotch Irish items in your blog (well, i see'd a poster.......) and was wondering if you would mind awfully if i canvased a few other scotch Irish sites for a mutual link ?
there a fun bunch and will concord with your concern for Darfur, the right to life etc.
I understand scots Irish cuture and geneology is undergoing quite the revival in the USA, and (as an honest little Ulster lad) might as well tell you openly that my interest in the links is to promote awarness of what is truely one of the USA's defining cultures.
