Not quite... Everybody wants the benefits of the thingamabob in question but none of the detriments. Most people want Religion, warts and all, though they probably would argue that the warts are just mis-interpretations, or not really warts at all.

Yes. I really thought I would enjoy myself and really was... for the first 45 min. or so. It really wasn't till they switched to political conspiracy theories that it went sour. Afterward it switched back to spirituality (with racist comments snuck in.) I was in a different mindset this time and couldn't enjoy any of it. I just started to get angry. I don't think that the speaker had me in mind or he wouldn't have said some of the things he did.
