What does it matter? Can't take it all with (the general) you when you go
Lovely colours! If you feel like dyeing some fingering Zephyr, give me a holler.

I love it! And you're right - it does look like an oil slick. The colours are so vibrant and cheery.

Thank you for your thoughts on shrinking Katherine. I actually washed her by hand with warm water and a little dish soap and then layed her out flat to dry. I probably knocked off between 4 to 6 inches versus using the wooly board. Maybe I should lay off the wooly board except for when something turns out large to begin with. I am not sure if I should try to shrink her more or not. She is wearable now so I may just wear her awhile and see if I am happy with her current size.
I read that Maccomber book and all the while was trying to envision how the pattern would turn out. It is nice to see it in real life.

Ravelry is fun, but addictive. Time sink, Twilight Zone, Bermuda triangle... whatever you call it, it eats up time like nobody's business.
Though it is a great place to show off fun, bright colored yarn...
