What a lovely idea that is! This is the first time I've heard of it.
I was blessed yesterday when a woman dropped off some knitting items for a donation. She first inquired if I was a knitter and when I said I was - she told me to go through and help myself first.
I got a bunch of different needles and yarns - it was fabulous!
