I'm actually hip on this idea because Jayson in fact is not being paid. The fee for the piece is going to two charities, one that supports international journalism (which is wonderfully ironic) and a support group for depression.

So here here! Because Jayson is just joining the long line of fabrication historian/journalists. He, Herodotus, and Mike Barnicle can write on in that special little corner of hell.

And while I know that Jayson Blair isn't going to make any money from this deal, he does keep his name in people's minds and it will trickle down into work for him. And that's the issue. This guy should be in jail for willfully spreading disinformation, not writing kitschy angled movie reviews.
