i go around and read righty blogs every now and again - it gets boring reading blogs where people are all on the same side of the line. i've definitely learned more than a few things reading them too, and they usually point out flaws in my own theories i never saw before. always a good idea to keep tabs on the enemy

The most important thing I learned is that they have no charity in them, at least not towards liberals. A very angry and abrasive lot of blogs.

Granted, if you read the rantings of the extreme right, you'll come away with a bad taste. But, the same holds true for the extreme left (see the rantings of Hesiod or Rev. Mykeru, or even Joshua Norton), who hold viewpoints that make you wonder if they world suddenly started spinning the other way. But, I lean more to the moderate right, such as Mitch Berg and Glenn Reynolds and Michele over at A Small Victory. There's plenty of bile being spewed from both sides, but if you stay close to center, you'll see some well thought out arguments for both sides.

The moderate right is readable, especially because its spelled properly and isn't all about derision and hate, at least not on the surface.

I'll give Mitch another shot. But some of those other sites are as close to being white supremacist hate sites as they can get!

The thing that strikes me the most about extremist blogs from either side it how quickly I tire of them.

I only stay amused for a little while before all of the ranting just starts to sound the same.

Guiness, you're quite, right. They do have that some bleating desperation to them.

I mean, how many times can they launch a "faggot" attack and have any impact? They're boring.

But some of them are pretty good writers. And I will admit to liking reading from the pro-gun women, they kind of turn me on. Women and guns, I'd post a pic but my mom reads my blog.
