I guess it's tough when you consider how active he was 25 years ago...the skiing Pope bla bla bla. I wonder how his health would be today if he HADN'T been shot in that assassination attempt.

I was a hell of lot more active and vital 25 years ago. Weren't we all?

He is 84. He has had a good long run.

I pray for his death with dignity and peace as well.

He lived a better life than damned near anyone else.

And 25 years ago, I was still a half pint sprog trying to get out from behind my brother's shadow. I've improved since then.
