The Apple store will give you 10% off a new iPod with the trade in of an old one. I did it a little less than two years ago and I'm sure they're still doing it.

I didn't even know about this....not sure if it's the same rule up here in Canada, but definitely worth finding out! We just got rid of an old computer and it's 'extras'.

Big Joe, good to know. I wonder if they'd apply the discount on an iPhone? Not that it matters now since we've got two in the house already. Maybe when the upgraded models are out and come down in price some more.

Lujza, us as well and I just gave it all away, thankful to be rid of it. But there's so much tech trash at my schools it might be a way of generating a little cash for them. Before they kick me to the curb, of course.
