On a very interesting sidenote: a man in California has proposed a Constitutional Amendment to ban divorce (based on the following passages). Would you vote for it?
Luke 16:18 "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery."
Deuteronomy 5: "Hear, O Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today ... You shall not commit adultery. "
"Would you vote for it?"
No. The Constitution gets abused and mis-used every day:'abortion', which is the murder of innocents, is Constitutionally protected, according to the Supreme Court.
Marriage is universal, and so is divorice.
I wouldn't clamor for a Constitutional amendment to end sunsets, but some knucklehead might propose something so dumb. Whether it passed or not, we would still have sunsets.
