God's Love: Don't leave home without it!

My company had a picnic today, which is where the C&H photo prop came from. When I told friends that I was going to put McCain and Obama's heads in the shot, what did they ask?
"Which one will be Hobbes, which one Calvin?"
I was going to do a second shot and switch the faces, but I decided that it works fine as is.
BTW, does anyone know if Bob Schrum
is working on the Obama campaign?
From his wiki:
"Critics often point out a "curse" associated with the presidential campaigns that Shrum has worked on, since he has yet to claim victory for any of his candidates in eight presidential elections."
52 days and counting.

we don't get enough Mark Steyn lately-he's been through a rough patch where the Canadian Thought Crimes Politburo had him in chains...until they realized that it isn't yet against the law to have an opinion.
Here's a bit o' Mark:

Good one, Doug. There really is no JABA, Hutt or otherwise.
I think we should email the Obama folks and recommend they hire Shrum if they have not already done so. He is living proof of the WW2 warning "Loose lips sink ships".

I'm guessing that there are Dem leadership types who actively oppose Shrum joining the campaign. He really does seem to the the 'kiss of death' for Democratic candidates.
Not that they need Shrum to lose-they seem to be doing fine all by themselves.
If there is a fatal flaw for the democrats, it might be that the American people are better and more quickly informed than they used to be.
When we have more evidence to weigh as to the qualities of each party, the scales find a more honest balance.
Allan, I hope that all is well for you; today seems like a Black Monday thanks to the financial shakeups on Wall Street. I'm hurting some, but my treasure is in Heaven. I consider the
financials here on this level to be about the same as Monopoly game money. We keep circling the board until we win. Have a great day.
