If Obama would only disrespect and attempt to alienate our enemies with as much fervor as he does Republicans, he might actually accomplish some good.
But he has gone the way of all weak flesh-now he has invited Iranian ambassadors to join us in our 4th of July celebrations. Does he think they will go all weak in the knees and start chanting "O-BAM-A" because he offers them some BBQ? With his cluelessness, he'd probably serve them pork.
They were finally dis-invited, but as with everything this president does, it took entirely too long.
Actually, serving pork ribs might not be a bad idea. They would be put between a rock and a hard place. Not wanting to offend the host would they offend their religion? At least, it might make them squirm a little.
I suppose now he'll invite a delegation from North Korea and perhaps his Latino pals, Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, the Castro brothers, and a stand-in for Che Guevara. On the other hand, maybe he could do the right thing for a change and invite a couple of hundred representatives from our military services, regular soldiers, sailors, and airmen. Nah! Too controversial.
My, my, I'm getting cynical in my old age.
I hadn't heard that they had been disinvited-I imagine a few stray opportunitic mullahcrats might show up and make a fuss, demanding to be seated.
I guess I should have mentioned for the age impaired out there that the guy in the picture whispering in Obama's ear is Jimmah Cartah.
I might have that wrong, but I don't think so. They had been invited some time ago before the catastrophe in the streets of Tehran so the question might be why they were invited in the first place. Hot dogs and fireworks would make them see the error of their ways and the beauty of freedom?
I'm certain Carter is demented of an outright Jew hater. Now he wants Hamas to be taken off the terrorist list. I'll bet he and Neville Chamberlain would have gotten on famously.
Like you Doug, I cling to God's promises. When America turns on Israel our country will fall precipitously along with all the rest. The Kingdom will prevail.
