I just turned the computer back on to post a thought, and then I'm off to bed.
Among the many lies the world tells us is the whopper:"God is too busy to care about the little details in your life; God helps those who help themselves."
He is God. He is fully Sovereign over every aspect of Creation, and He cares enough about His children to be there for the little details. The world tells you that He is too busy because they don't want to believe that He is all powerful, holding full sway over every aspect of their lives.
Today I finished listening to a series of sermons about the Ten Commandments by Andy Stanley-very insightful; our Pastor has recently taught on them also, so I've heard two good perspectives. Stanley calls his series, "The Sinai Code"-if you google him, I think it may be a blessing for you.
