If you are wondering about the title of this post, I consider "Apostrophe" to be the best album Zappa put out; FDW is no "Apostrophe", but it is the best that I have done. Whether or not it continues, I am pleased with our efforts here. I believe that God honors the work we do for Him, enjoys our efforts as we seek to honor Him.

Thank you for the kind words Doug. I don't have much to add except to say that whatever I may think of you have probably already considered. (Yes, I know that's a split infinitive).
I agree with you on the personal 'myspace' approach to blogging and frankly don't really care to voyeuristically invade anyone's life. I don't read 'myspace' and certainly would never write one which wouldn't interest anyone anyway.
There are so many voices out there clamoring for attention and, IMO most are an utter waste of time and many downright destructive. That would be an argument for keeping FDW going. On the other hand it's easy to get lost in the vastness of the internet sea.
I think you have maintained FDW very well and for the right reason. It's not about you, it's about Him and you never lost sight of that.
Whatever you decide I wish you only well and thank you for letting le and me be a part of it.
You might consider this:
Pro 20:15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

Oh my! I do feel the need to say something profound, but as is so often the case with me -- nothing! lol
See you in heaven, Allan and Doug, and all the other believers who visit here! Praise God that He never changes. His love toward us is everlasting!
"Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD." Psalm 106.48
Amen and Maranatha!

ps. I can't vote. This place is just too dear to me. I wish it would never end, but may our Lord give you all wisdom in what to do, dear friend.

Thank you le, and Allan-I don't believe in the old Christian practice of "laying out a fleece"-that seems to have more to do with doubt than faith. So I'm not testing God to determine His Will. I know that whatever we do in life, we live for the Lord so,whether I keep FDW going, or move on to other works, He will keep me busy.
There is something to be said for finishing while still 'on top' instead of hanging on until waaaaaaaay past time.
May God richly Bless you today, friends.

The picture is of a "Hill of Crosses" found in Lithuania-the population is primarily Catholic, and there has been a tradition of planting crosses on this particular hill for generations. While we do not 'worship the Cross', it is a symbol of Jesus paying the price for our sin. I think the empty tomb is as good a representation of our new life in Christ, of being born again, but that's not as easy to depict.
Here's a better picture:
