You know, Cindy, my whole life has been one of money worries. I got out of school and went to a war.
Got out of the war and went to work wearing a badge and gun and spent my life getting knocked around. Now I'm looking at the ultimate end of living, and dying, with Parkinsons.
I've got Linda Lou, though, and, though the kids are grown and far gone, them. I've got a very few friends and a host of acquaintances.
I'm the luckiest sumbitch in the world.

Thank you for your kind words. Peter made a good comment several posts back and I have to learn to ask as well as wait to ask people to help me. I'm home now, in my brace, leaving a ton of stuff up at the camp and if I only thought through the pain, I'd still be there.
I want you both to read "ABOUT ME" from the sidebar and you'll see some of the things I must deal with - it's like having ALS, MS, MD and more all rolled into one.
Don't feel sorry for me - I am surviving; I just have to do a better job of it.

Peter, I'm sorry you have Parkinson's; my heart goes out to all that have to suffer. But you are lucky for you have a good family. a good wife and a good support system. My doctor changed my xanax to a higher dosage of Valium to help with the shakes.
And I'm lucky to have people like you on my side.
