so, the Forest Service wants to let fires burn to erase any prior trace of roads or something? Why is that?
I think I remember hearing about "inholders" and their access rights. Is this to deny them access to their property or something?
I do have to agree though, that sometimes fires are important to the ecosystem.

As an off-road motorcyclist I'm not surprised at any of this, the Forest Service is one of those departments that got taken-over in the 80's and is run by the ecoweenies for the most part now..

It started life as a swamp, and it still is. I know. I live there. Kinda' tough to burn a swamp tho'.
