This is good news for me. I can't wait to get my hands on a used 1911... when they come back down to the price they're supposed to be. Guess that means I should buy a Glock now, before they're $2,000, though.
1911's are the guns you show your friends. GLOCKS are the guns you show your enemies.
I've been wondering about throwing some .45 ACP lead at IDPA when I can get free of work to shoot. The SF needs a couple of more magazines and a holster to fit, ammo carriers, too.
I just can't see concealing a fat Glock under a tee shirt.
Well, that sorta is the point.
You can't see it. It's concealed.
Maybe I'd better see about the possibilities.
I've a drawer full of IWB rigs that do a good job of stopping the print even with a light colored tee. Problem is most of them are as uncomfortable as all hell. In states that do not permit open carry, the real deal is to make CCW as incommodious as possible. Guess what, it works. Can't tell y'all how many folks I know who simply cannot put up with the hassle and switch to a pocket Kel-Tec that gathers so much lint it'd be a miracle if it actually fired. Every store I stop at has had so many runs on .22's and .25's, and any mouse caliber you can imagine, that they cannot keep them in stock.
I finally developed something of a callus at approximately 2 O'Clock, but since I've been forced to be a lefty as of late switching over to 10:30 or 11 is irritating as hell. So much so that I'm thinking of going crossdraw, something I gave up on long ago.
When did you get an SF, Hyunch? Sorry if I missed that.

I've had a Ghost trigger installed but don't recall firing it much, if any, since then. That was in May and soon after that I was using every day off to pack or do other things for this move.
I ordered some extra mags today and figure I'll get a Blade Tech holster set and see what it's like to sling it in the gun games when I can get to one next.
