FYI, the Outdoor Channel is not affiliated with Outdoor Life magazine. The channel affiliated with them is Outdoor Life Network, or OLN, which recently changed its name to Versus.

Well, I call them "semi-autos", which puts them in the same class as a Remington 7400. What, just because they blue it and screw a dead tree to it, it's no longer a "terrorist" rifle?

Nothing like calling your potential customer base terrorists. Does this senile gasbag even know the difference between a hunter and a murderer?

Maybe my testosterone level is a bit high today, but I'm getting mighty pissed off at people that insist I'm a criminal or a terrorist because I own a gun. That's obviously the take from the MCPD, too.

Maybe Remington feels the need to say things like this, because they're taking flak from customers who feel that 4"+ groups at 100 yards with an $800 rifle is not acceptable. It must really get under their skin that customers buying foreign stamped sheet metal cheapies, or decades-old surplus rifles that out-perform their non-terrorist rifles.
