The militancy about Christmas versus "holidays" annoys me more as we continue to have the same arguments about it every year. The WalMart associate who was fired had certain things correct: many of the secular aspects of Christmas draw on non-Christian tradition, just as the Easter bunny and eggs have nothing to do with the resurrection of Christ. If you're at WalMart for the spirituality instead of the materialism, you've made a wrong turn somewhere.
