I feel the exact same way about varigated sock yarns, and my Jules socks evoked all the same feelings. So pretty to pet, but looked too random when knitted up. I think they do well for cowls, though. That's going to be my new thing for varigated sock yarns. That, or scarves.

That's hilarious about the colour, it's an exact match! so many people have a tough time finding foundation to match their skin tone, and you have yarn!!
