I used to think that Vatican II was evil, but recently I've learned that this is not the case.

The main problem is what Vatican II has been interpreted as, as in the "Spirit of Vatican II".

The same people who believe in a "Spirit of Vatican II" believe that the U.S. Constitution is a "living, breathing, document".

They are both pieces of paper with words on them that means something.

I wonder if the fossilized adherents to the nebulous "Spirit of Vatican II" ever bothered to read St. Paul's 1st Epistle to the Thessalonians (5:21) and cogently explain why this is not applicable to the lagacy of said spirit?
