Just barely.... 71 out of 102. I am sorely deficient with the American film viewing except for most of the film noir selections. Thank goodness there were a lot of French films on the list, with directors Jean Renoir, Jean-Luc Godard, and Francois Truffaut represented, among others.
Oh gosh, add The 400 Blows and Breathless to your NetFlix queue. You should also definitely watch Renoir's The Rules of the Game followed up with The Grand Illusion (which did not make the list).
Several others that I would have liked to see on the list:
Rififi - wonderful French "heist gone wrong" movie from the 50s or early 60s.
The 39 Steps - my all-time favorite Hitchcock film. One of his early efforts from the 1930s.
Ah, films! Could talk about it all day...

82 of 102. I probably own half of them.
Ah, the 39 Steps. I AM THE 39 STEPS! And boy oh boy, do I heart Rififi.
I'm surprised that Most Dangerous Game wasn't included. Nor Gun Crazy or ....... WAGES OF FEAR. The Red Shoes, too.

Easy, Tiger. You ain't seen nothing until you seen my B-movie collection.
And what the heck -- no Sergio Leone westerns? (I'd add River Kwai and Straw Dogs to the list, too.)

I'd second the Wages of Fear, what an awesome movie.
Exactly right about The Bridge over the River Kwai. After all, you need to have seen that to truly understand the Breakfast Club (whistling as I write).

Isn't Dirty Harry enough Eastwood for such a list?
