My graduation memory of Lt. Col. North was bumping into him (literally) on campus when he stopped short while walking ahead of me. He turned around quickly and I remember thinking Tait's dad was kinda hot in person.

I recall that Tait came a-rolling through La Casa de LambChops and announced herself to me and Pipkin as Ollie's daughter. Clearly she was lost and thought she was at KA. Pipkin's response was priceless - "Shouldn't your dad be in prison?"

Hm. I never remember her throwing her "celebrity" around. I just appreciated that when she was my RA in Gaines Hall, she overlooked our rolling a very contraband keg past her into our suite. I like to think that she would have said she "didn't recall" if asked about it.

I always got the sense that she was somewhat perplexed and a bit embarrassed about the whole "being a child of someone who should be in prison for very publically fucking up".
