I find the concept fascinating in many of the ways you mentioned, especially since the PR ground game is ascending far beyond strict media relations to ensure success/ROI for clients.
I'm curious how the former talent will take to being the messenger instead of the person in the spotlight. Producers and good PR practitioners get along well because we're the ones who roll up our sleeves, get dirty executing the nitty-gritty and avoid the spotlight. The talent and the client remain shiny and clean through the process. Hmm...we'll see!
