And if you're casting about for more food-scented body products, check out Laura Mercier's Creme Brulee hand cream. Holy shit, does it smell good. I don't know how well it moisturizes, but who cares?
birds schmirds! It is the damn rabbits you need to worry about! Those little bastards will eat anything coming up in your garden. As soon as they see black soil, they set up patrols. They are eating our tomatoes this year and wabbits hate tomatoes - watch out for those wascals. So I guess it sounds like I am picking garden but actually shooting things in the garden is closer to my heart - just glad all is well.
i am totally with you on the garden thing. i made a little garden myself and yesterday? the sunflowers sprouted!

Re: smelling like pumpkin pie... didn't they do some study a while back that claimed that pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, etc.) acted like an aphrodisiac for men?
re: garden: PLASTIC DEER NETTING. Small birds can still get through it, and snakes tend to get caught in it (poor snakes with their big distended toad-bellies) but just loop it around and over anything you want to save. (You can make a frame out of curved wire, bamboo stakes, etc to keep it off taller plants, or to hold it above a bed of salad greens.) Wrapping your garden in plastic mesh is not, in fact, that aesthetically pleasing, but it'll fit right in with the overalls and shotguns.

Ralph - if flea wants to get rid of rabbits & birds, she just needs a cat. Cats will catch & kill anything while the dogs are busy sniffing each other's butts. My ex-housemate's cat managed to kill birds despite being belled.
Grace, I called Jaqua Girls, and they told me that none of their products contain lanolin. Also, I can order almost any book currently in print. I haven't been unable to fulfill any special orders yet.
Just want to add that I've read Embroideries by Marjane Satrapi, and it is indeed great. (I got mine free on Free Comic Book Day but the rest of you better order it from flea!)
Strange quetion, but do you have a lotion or body oil that smells more like steak sauce? My husband insists that food does not belong in the bedroom, but I think I could get him to chance his mind with the right marinade.

Oh, YAY! That's so great about the books. Seriously, seriously great. I'm not down with buying her a vibe (ahem) but I'll be goddamned if she grows up as ignorant of her own body as I did. All hail flea.
I love gardening. We just moved to a new house with an enormous yard. I don't have time to plant this year due to the new baby and the full-time job. Please let us know how the rabbit fence works out. I will need to implement one when I put my garden together next year. I read that you have to plant it 6" deep so they can't tunnel under it.
