I think quotas was a bad word usage...I meant to suggest constrictions could be placed on the abortions...for instance personally I would not let anyone over 27 have an abortion unless the situation was life threatening for them, and I would not let anyone abort who makes over 100,000 and etc.
I think Ann realizes that nobody would listen to her if she was rational, and personally the only reason I watch her is to say what absurd thing she will say next
No fault there on your Ann Coutler comment...same reason I see what Ted Kennedy or Michael Moore has to say.
Ann is great, once again the only thing people have to fall back on is slader. Oh well.
Here's an idea: Why don't we just keep the government out of marriage? If you can find a pastor or priest to perform a marriage (not to homosexuals: the Episcopal Church is a good resource), then go for it.

Letting the states decide gay marriage is a smokescreen. In Nebraska, they voted to outlaw gay marriage and it went to federal court. Guess what? The court said that they couldn't do that. It's going to take a federal amendment, end of story.
It might, if only because the courts are so messed up. The only reason I am for a Defense of Marriage Amendment is becuase state legistatures get to vote on it, keeping oout of the hands of activist judges.
